On May 16th 2015 Serbian Nippon kempo team of 6 members from SHINBUKAN Dojo Požarevac has participated on one of the largest ever international Nippon Kempo tournaments in Rome, Italy. There were over 100 participants from Italy, Serbia, France, Russia, USA, Mexico, Japan, Kazakstan, Ukraine, etc. Serbian contestants won 4 medals. We thank to the host, Dario Brustaferri sensei and his associates, in particular M. Simonetti and Francesco Cubello. Also, many thanks to Mr. Vladislav Oganov for his huge help.

On April 18th 2015, Backa Topola hosted the first "SERBIA GRAPPLING OPEN", an international GI and NO-GI tournament. There were near 60 competitiors from Croatia, Serbia and Germany. Serbian Budo Council (SBC) was represented with 15 members from Jujutsu clubs from Požarevac, Kostolac and Vlaski Do. There were also representatives of BJJ "Lutador" and Gracie Barra clubs from Belgrade, Niš and Pančevo, as well as representatives of grappling and jujutsu clubs from Bačka Topola, Vrbas, etc. SBC competitiors won 20 medals in GI and NO-GI categories. We give our thanks to good hosts, fine organization and the president of the International and Serbian Grappling Federation, Mr. Goran Jakšić.

On Saturday 22nd of November 2014, as a part of the festival "THE DAYS OF JAPAN", organized by GOSHINKAN Club of Martial Arts from Vrsac, headed by Miss. Adriana Barsi, 4th DAN Jujutsu, we also had GOSHINKAN Serbian Cup in jujutsu and chanbara. This event was sanctioned by Serbian Budo Council (SBC). Competition in Ju-Jutsu and Chanbara (modern Japanese fencing ) took place in sport beautiful hall "Millennium". This event was also part of activities of the national sport federation "SPORT FOR ALL", where SBC has full membership. Competition was attended by 140 participants from ten clubs and sections: Vrsac, Pozarevac, Kostolac, Belgrade, Čajetina, Bela Crkva, Vlaški Do, Petrovac, Deliblato, Backa Palanka. Competition was opened by host, Adriana Barsi sensei, followed by board member of the Association "Sport for All", Prof. Dr. Dusan Mitic, President of SBC, Prim. Dr. Ivica Zdravkovic, and Miss Julkica Mitrašinović, officer in charge of sports within the Municipality of Vrsac.


Competition went smoothly, in a great atmosphere and even better organization. The contestants competed in chanbara disciplines of Kodachi (short sword), Choken (long sword) and NITO (fight with two swords), as well as disciplines Mix Kumite and Sport Jujutsu. In addition to excellent performance of the most of competitors, who shave shown remarkable fighting skills, excelllent refereing is another impression hat myst be emphasized. Serbian Ju-Jitsu Union has held it's National Championship on 18th and 19th of October 2014 in Cajetina, on mountain Zlatibor. near 130 contestants tok part in this event, from 14 clubs ((Čajetina, Užice, Beograd, Požarevac, Kostolac, Vršac, Petrovac na Mlavi, Bačka Palanka, Vlaški Do, Nova Pazova, Bela Crkva, Crvenka...). Tourbnament was well organized by the Union and the host. This was 12th year in a row since a network of independent clubs with instructors from Serbian Budo Council organizes its national championships. Congratulations to all medal winners, as well as to all coaches and referees.

On June 28th 2014 Dorsten in Germany hosted the traditional GERMAN JUDO OPEN tournament, which was also Internationall Shinbudo Association's European Cup in Judo, Sport Jujutsu, Sport kenjutsu and Grappling. Main host was Mr. Stephan Leifeld. There were 90 competitiros from Germany, Serbia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Greece... Serbian team was composed of 27 contestants from Požarevac, Kostolac, Nova Pazova, Vršac and Čajetina. The best male and femal competitors were Martin Heller from Czech Republic and Anika Syben from germany. Best team with 55 medals was team from Serbia. the best serbian competitior was Ivan Blagojevic, with 4 gold medals in senior concurrence (Sport Jujutsu, judo, Grappling, No-Gi grappling). Main referees were Mr. Leifeld in Judo, Dr. Ivica Zdravkovic in Sport Jujutsu, Mr. Dimitrios Kotsidis in Grappling, Mrs Adrijana Barsi and mr. Andy Flum in Sport Kenjutsu.
